Bring your own content

Max App ships no channels, subscriptions, playlists, or EPG data. You supply your own M3U URL and optional EPG/XMLTV URL; the app plays only what you point it at.

Acceptable use

Use Max App only for media you are lawfully entitled to access. Never add real IPTV, channel, stream, or EPG URLs to the project, fixtures, docs, or support diagnostics.

Reseller responsibilities

If you deploy the portal for other users, pass the BYO-content-only requirement on to them. Do not advertise, imply, or supply channels or subscriptions with a Max App deployment.

Support, abuse, and safety

Use the public Support page to report suspected abuse, illegal content offers, bundled-channel claims, or safety/privacy concerns. Include only non-sensitive context.

Bring-your-own-content only

Max App contains no channels, playlists, EPG/XMLTV data, subscriptions, or stream URLs. You supply your own M3U playlist URL and, optionally, your own EPG/XMLTV URL. The portal stores those references; the app downloads, parses, and plays what you configure. You are solely responsible for the content you add and for having the legal right to access, store, and play it. Sample material uses only example.com placeholders.

Acceptable use

You agree that you will only play media you are lawfully entitled to access, and that you will not:

  • Use Max App to access, distribute, or resell content you do not have the rights to.
  • Add real IPTV, channel, stream, or EPG URLs to this project's repository, fixtures, documentation, support diagnostics, or issue tracker.
  • Bundle channels, playlists, or subscriptions with any distribution or fork of Max App.
  • Represent Max App as a source of content.
  • Use customer-line tooling to hide unauthorized content distribution or expose private customer data.

Reseller responsibilities

If you deploy the Max App portal for other users, you must pass the BYO-content-only requirement on to them: Max App provides the software, you and your users provide the content and the rights to use it. Do not advertise, imply, or supply channels, subscriptions, or media as part of a deployment, and do not collect your users' real playlist or stream URLs into this project's repository, shared fixtures, or support evidence.

Support, abuse, and safety reports

To report suspected abuse, illegal content offers, bundled-channel claims, reseller misuse, account safety issues, or privacy concerns, use the public Support page. Max App does not provide channels or subscriptions and reseller deployments must not imply otherwise. Include only non-sensitive context; do not send private playlist URLs, stream URLs, credentials, tokens, raw MAC addresses, or customer-line descriptions.

No content, no warranty

Max App is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Because Max App ships no content, the project makes no representation about the availability, legality, or quality of any media you configure. You use Max App at your own risk and assume full responsibility for the media you supply.

Privacy and local data

Max App stores only the configuration you provide and locally generated device state. The portal stores device links and your user-supplied M3U/EPG references in Firestore; it does not store media itself. Support diagnostics and smoke harnesses redact URLs, tokens, keys, MAC addresses, and customer-line descriptions before writing evidence — never paste real playlist, stream, EPG URLs, customer MACs, or customer-line descriptions into logs, issues, or shared files.
